Setting */MasterFile in the Administration ECL on your Domino Server will automatically set */MasterFile in the ACL for a Notes user when they connect to the server or refresh their ACL settings.

From the Domino Administrator, open the Server Configuration tab and choose Actions > Edit Administration ECL.

From the dialog box that opens, click Add and then type */MasterFile.

Turn on every option under Allow and click OK.
